Coronavirus / Covid-19

March 17th, 2020

To: Our Valued WMH Customers

During this last week, there have been significant changes concerning Coronavirus/Covid-19 in the U.S. and around the world. WMH is closely monitoring the situation daily and we wanted to communicate to you some of the steps we’re taking to protect our customers, employees, and suppliers - while continuing to provide world class service and support for our customers.

We’ve implemented new customer, employee, and supplier policies to address COVID-19 and make sure we’re heeding all federal, state, and local guidelines and CDC recommendations. Our policy is subject to change as conditions warrant. These include, but are not limited to, the following measures:

  1. Our Valued Customers

Working closely with customers to make sure we understand any new policies your company may have implemented and what expectations you have of us as a supplier. Some examples of alternative services available upon customer request: WMH can direct ship parts, arrange pickup of your equipment to work offsite in our shop, or conduct virtual meetings with our sales personnel.

2.  Our Valued Employees

Provided our employees with CDC best practices guidelines on cough/sneeze etiquette, hand washing, cleaning work areas, social distancing, and staying home if they’re sick. We’ve also asked employees to self-quarantine if they have traveled by airplane/cruise in the last 14 days and to inform of us of personal travel plans for the next 6-8 weeks. We’re allowing some employees to work remotely while keeping our branches operating to fully support our customers. We’ve suspended non-essential business travel, inter-branch travel, non-essential supplier visits, group training, and group meetings for all employees.

    3.  Our Facilities

We’re enhancing the cleaning of our facilities, installed hand sanitizer stations, and will be requiring all visitors to complete a COVID-19 Health Declaration form before they enter our facilities.

As of today, WMH has not had any employees test positive for COVID-19. Our hearts go out to all those families who have been affected by this virus. WMH will continue to monitor this situation very closely and follow the above guidelines and adjust where federal, state, local, and CDC require us to do so.

Should you have any questions, please contact your local WMH representatives or feel free to reach out to me directly. As always, we are grateful for your business and fully committed to exceeding your expectations as a supplier.

      Sincerely,

      Scott A. Moe
